Biography
Daniel Straka, MD, obtained his bachelor's degree in pre-medical science from the University of Notre Dame in 2005. He attended medical school at the University of Toledo College of Medicine from which he earned his doctor of medicine degree in 2009. After medical school he moved to Nashville, TN to complete his residency in ophthalmology at the Vanderbilt Eye Institute, followed by a two-year fellowship in oculofacial plastic and reconstructive surgery at Plastic Surgery Ohio/Ophthalmic Surgeons and Consultants of Ohio, and The Ohio State University. Dr. Straka specializes in the medical and surgical management of many functional, reconstructive, and cosmetic conditions of the face and peri-orbital structures in adults and pediatrics. He was born and raised in Columbus.
