Biography

Collin Shield, MA, CCC-SLP, works with a variety of communication disorders and diagnoses at Nationwide Children's Hospital in the outpatient setting. She is a speech-language pathologist who is passionate about using Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) to support children with complex medical needs. She is a member of the Hearing Program team where she specializes in a Total Communication approach for children who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing. Collin utilizes spoken language, sign language, and alternative communication modalities to promote functional communication skills for children with a variety of communication needs.
