Biography

Cassie Myers, MA, CCC-SLP, is an Advanced Speech-Language Pathologist. She earned her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from The Ohio State University in 2012 and has diverse clinical experience across public and private schools, as well as inpatient and outpatient hospital settings. She has specialized experience in integrated, interprofessional assessment for children birth to five through the Early Childhood Mental Health Center, collaborating closely with behavioral health and occupational therapy providers. She continues to support this program and provides assessment and treatment on pediatric and adolescent behavioral health inpatient units for patients experiencing psychiatric crisis. Currently, Cassie delivers services at a Nationwide Children’s Hospital Close to Home Center in Athens, Ohio.

She is deeply committed to patient- and family-centered, trauma-informed care. Cassie served on ASHA SIG 1’s Professional Development Committee from 2018–2024 and is a graduate of the 2018 ASHA Leadership Development Program. She has presented at organizational, state, and national levels on topics including telehealth, diversity, equity, and inclusion, interprofessional practice, and trauma-informed care. She currently serves on the executive board of the Ohio Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
