Biography

Breanna “Bre” Cugliari. MS, AT, GTS, joins Nationwide Children's Hospital from TriHealth Orthopedics & Sports Medicine in Cincinnati, OH. During her time with TriHealth, she worked in physician practice (2019-2021) and as an athletic trainer with Xavier University (2017-2019). During her time at Xavier, she worked directly with the women’s volleyball and men’s and women’s swimming programs. She served as a clinical instructor for the Master’s level athletic training education program. At Xavier, Bre was also was responsible for inventory, ordering of supplies, and staff scheduling. Prior to her time at TriHealth, she spent a year as the Associate Head Athletic Trainer and Operations Manager at Rhodes College in Memphis, TN. There, she worked directly with women’s field hockey, men’s basketball, men’s lacrosse, and men’s and women’s tennis. She was also responsible for day-to-day operations and supervision and scheduling of student workers in the athletic training room. Prior to Rhodes, she was an Athletic Trainer and Instructor at Mount St. Joseph University in Cincinnati, OH. She primarily worked with football and men’s volleyball but had previously worked with the women’s volleyball, wrestling, men’s and women’s golf and men’s and women’s tennis programs. While at Mount St. Joseph, she served as a clinical instructor and taught courses in the undergraduate Athletic Training Education program. Prior to Mount St. Joseph, Bre worked as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Wahama High School in Mason, WV and was responsible for care of all high school and some junior high school athletic teams.

Bre received her bachelor’s degree in exercise science with a concentration in athletic training from the University of Toledo in 2011 and her master’s degree in Athletic Training from Ohio University in 2013. Bre is certified in Graston Technique, trained in Blood Flow Restriction Therapy, and is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association and National Strength and Conditioning Association.
