Biography

Beth A. Vogt, MD, is a member of the Section of Nephrology and Hypertension and the medical director of the Dialysis Unit at Nationwide Children's Hospital. She is an associate professor of Pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. Her primary clinical interests include care of children with chronic kidney disease, dialysis management of children with end-stage kidney disease, and care of the critically ill child with acute kidney injury, and care for children with tuberous sclerosis with renal involvement. Educational interests include teaching medical students, residents and fellows and serving as Rotation Director for resident education in nephrology. She participates as faculty in nephrology for many American Academy of Pediatrics continuing medical education courses for primary care providers. Her research interests include prevention of dialysis-associated infections in the Children's Hospital Association SCOPE collaborative and early identification of children with acute kidney injury.
