Anthony Bartko, MSAH, AT, ATC, is a certified athletic trainer at Nationwide Children's Hospital Sports Medicine Department. He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training from Heidelberg University in 2016. Anthony was recognized by his peers and professors with the Purpose award, which is awarded annually to the athletic training student that exudes clinical confidence and competence.
Anthony then earned his Master’s in Healthcare Administration, from Otterbein University in 2018. During this time he served as a Graduate Assistant working primarily with their football, wrestling, and women’s lacrosse teams.
Over the next three years, Anthony went on to work as an outreach athletic trainer working at Ashland University. He worked with the Men’s and Women’s track & field teams helping the men on their way to three consecutive National Championships. He also worked with the volleyball, swimming and diving, and football teams.
Anthony’s outreach responsibility is at Canal Winchester High School and resides in Columbus with his wife.
