Biography
Andrew H. Tran, MD, MPH, MS, is Director of Preventive Cardiology at Nationwide Children’s Hospital (Columbus, OH) and an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at The Ohio State University School of Medicine (Columbus, OH). Dr. Tran completed his pediatric residency and pediatric cardiology fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center (Dallas, TX). He then completed an advanced fellowship in preventive cardiology at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center (Cincinnati, OH).

As Director of Preventive Cardiology, Dr. Tran leads a multidisciplinary team to care for children with lipid disorders, hypertension, and metabolic syndrome. Dr. Tran’s research focuses on understanding the impact of cardiovascular risk factors on children and improving the implementation of evidence-based care for treating children and families.
