Andrea L. Newport, FNP

Andrea Newport, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is the Interventional Endoscopy Advanced Practice Provider (APP) at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. She specializes in the care of children with complex gastrointestinal disorders requiring advanced endoscopic evaluation and treatment. Andrea works closely with Dr. Muhammad Khan, collaborates with the Neurogastroenterology and Motility Center, and is a member of the Pancreas and Liver Care Center. Her clinical practice includes caring for children with esophageal motility disorders, including achalasia, pancreaticobiliary diseases, liver disorders, and other conditions requiring advanced endoscopic procedures. She serves as a consistent point of contact for patients and families throughout evaluation, treatment, and follow-up care, helping coordinate care across specialties to provide a seamless experience.
