Amber Herman, DNP, PMHNP-BC is a psychiatric nurse practitioner in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, working primarily on the Neurobehavioral Inpatient Unit at the Behavioral Health Pavilion. Additionally, she is a faculty member of the Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Post-Graduate Fellowship. Amber received her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Chatham University. In 2018 she graduated with her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Robert Morris University, specializing as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. Her graduate thesis focused on seclusion and restraint reduction in the acute psychiatric setting.
