Biography

Alyssa Riggle, MS, LGC, is a genetic counselor who recently joined the Nationwide Children's team from Cleveland, OH. Alyssa grew up in a suburb of Cleveland and attended Kent State University for undergrad where she received her Bachelor's in Molecular and Cellular Biology. While at Kent, Alyssa was involved in a variety of organizations such as working as a campus tutor, working as a research assistant in a genetics lab, serving as secretary in Kent's Female Medical Student Organization, and volunteering as a genetic counseling assistant at Akron Children's Hospital. After undergrad, Alyssa attended Case Western Reserve University where she received her Master's in Genetic Counseling. Alyssa has always had a strong interest in working in the pediatric setting and is excited to be a part of the Nationwide Children's genetics team.
