Alisa Mo, MD, PhD, is a pediatric neurologist at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, a principal investigator in the Steve and Cindy Rasmussen Institute for Genomic Medicine and assistant professor of Pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine.
Dr. Mo’s research focuses on developmental neuroscience, human genetics, epigenetics and bioinformatics. She is passionate about understanding the genetics of neurodevelopmental disorders and currently has a K08 grant from the National Institute of Mental Health for her research.
Dr. Mo received her MD and PhD from Johns Hopkins University and completed her postdoctoral and clinical fellowships at Boston Children's Hospital. She is an active member of professional societies, including the Child Neurology Society, and has won awards for her work over the course of her career. Dr. Mo has contributed to more than 15 publications and book chapters. She places value in teaching the next generation of physician-scientists, having mentored undergraduates, research assistants and medical residents throughout her career.
