Biography

Alex Winter, MS, LAT, ATC, is an outreach athletic trainer at Bexley High School. She attended Otterbein University for her undergraduate degree in Athletic Training in 2017 and attended Pittsburg State University for her master's degree in health and human performance in 2020. While receiving her master's degree, Alex worked with the division II track and field team at PSU helping them earn multiple conference championships and a 4th place finish at nationals. After her time at Pittsburg State, Alex was a Athletic Training Fellow at the University of Kentucky earning a certificate in Management of Musculoskeletal Injuries while working with the men's and women's tennis and cheer teams. During her time at UK, Alex helped the men's tennis team earn a national runner-up finish at the Division 1 NCAA Championship in 2022.

Alex is certified in Modern Cupping Therapy and Hawkgrips Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization. She is a member of the National Athletic Training Association and is board certified and licensed in the state of Ohio.
