Biography

 

Dr. Thatcher joined Nationwide Children's Hospital in January 2023. He is an active faculty member in the OSU Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery and an Assistant Professor of Clinical Otolaryngology at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He is board certified in Otolaryngology and Pediatric Otolaryngology. He completed his residency and fellowship at University of Michigan, and he spent the first 5 years of his career practicing at University of Michigan. He is experienced in taking care of all common issues in pediatric otolaryngology including ear issues, nose and sinus issues, larynx issues (including swallowing, voice, and airway problems), cysts or masses of the neck, salivary gland issues, malignancies in the head and neck, and congenital anomalies of the head and neck.

His clinical interests including using ultrasound in his office to evaluate a variety of head and neck issues. He has advanced experience treating masses, cysts, tumors, and anomalies of the head and neck. He enjoys doing office-based procedures like needle biopsy or saliva gland injection.
