Biography

Aaron J. Trask, PhD, FAHA, FCVS, is a principal investigator in the Center for Cardiovascular Research at Nationwide Children's and an associate professor with tenure in the Department of Pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He trained as a physiologist and pharmacologist at Wake Forest University and completed his postdoctoral training in cardiovascular physiology at Nationwide Children's.

Dr. Trask's research focuses on studying processes involved in microvascular disease, with a particular focus on coronary microvascular disease that occurs in early type 2 diabetes, hypertension and metabolic syndrome.
