Biography

Margaret A. Chase, MD is an Associate Professor of Clinical Pediatrics, in the Division of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine, at The Ohio State University College of Medicine and has served as an Attending Physician in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Nationwide Children's Hospital since July 2007. Dr. Chase received her medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia in 2000, and completed residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at The Ohio State University and Nationwide Children's Hospital in 2004. She subsequently completed her fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio in 2007.  In 2023 she completed fellowship training in Sleep Medicine at the Ohio State University Medical Center and is now sharing her clinical time across the PICU, Pediatric Sleep Medicine at Nationwide Children’s, and Adult Sleep Medicine at Ohio State.  Dr. Chase is an enthusiastic educator, having received recognition for excellence in teaching with the Dr. Grant Morrow Teaching Award as selected by the Pediatric Residency Program in 2013 and the 2013 Award for Excellence in Teaching by Junior Faculty from the Department of Pediatrics and served as Program Director for the Internal Medicine/Pediatrics Residency Program at OSU/NCH from 2015-2022.
