Charlie Solley, Vice President of Government Relations
Charlie Solley, Vice President of Government Relations, works with hospital leadership and staff to direct the institution’s interactions with officials at the federal, state and local levels of government. The advocacy efforts of Nationwide Children’s Hospital cover everything from fighting for widespread and robust health coverage for kids to supporting the adoption of evidence-based policies to address the issues facing children today.

Morna Smith, PhD, Special Projects and Program Grants Officer
Morna works with staff and clinicians of Nationwide Children’s Hospital to identify and secure public (federal, state and local) grants to enhance the programs and services provided by Nationwide Children’s. She is engaged in special projects in government relations, including pediatric resident advocacy education. Email Morna.

Kate Toadvine, executive assistant provides executive support to the vice president of Government Relations. Her main focus is day to day calendar and travel needs for the vice president and daily operational and administrative activities for Government Relations. Email Kate.
Aileen Collins, Government Relations Manager
Aileen Collins, Government Relations Manager, assists with all local, state, and federal legislative activities managed though the Government Relations office. Aileen monitors legislation and regulatory changes, plans tours and events, and assists in all advocacy efforts on behalf of Nationwide Children's Hospital. Email Aileen.
