Biography

Jordan Sasiela, PhD, currently works as a Psychologist and Psychology Supervisor for the Autism Outpatient Psychotherapy Program at the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders (CASD). Dr. Sasiela provides supervision and training support for counselors, as well as behavioral health services for children and adolescents on the autism spectrum. Within his clinical care, Dr. Sasiela specializes in areas of depression, anxiety, identity development, adaptive functioning, and LGBTQ+ affirming care.

Dr. Sasiela obtained his PhD in clinical psychology from the University of North Carolina Greensboro in 2023. His research focused on treatment of depression, with emphasis on the roles of motivation and goal setting. He completed his pre-doctoral internship in 2023 at The Help Group’s Kaleidoscope program, which specializes in care for autistic and LGBTQ+ youth.  He completed the Trueman Fellowship Program at Nationwide Children’s Hospital Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders in 2024. His training has focused on developing additional expertise in cognitive behavioral approaches, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
