Biography

Tsovinar Sorkin, MD, is an attending critical care and complex care physician at Nationwide Children's and an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. She completed her pediatric critical care fellowship at C.S. Mott Childrens Hospital at University of Michigan. Afterwards, she completed a pediatric palliative medicine fellowship at Children’s Hospital of Minnesota. Dr. Sorkin served as faculty at C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital in both critical care and palliative medicine prior to joining Nationwide Children’s hospital. She served as fellowship program director and medical co-director of home based chronic complex care program. Dr. Sorkin has dual appointment in divisions of critical care medicine and chronic complex medicine. Her clinical interests include outcomes for chronic critically ill patients, chronic complex patients in the critical care unit, and palliative care within critical care setting.
