Biography

Sabrina Tavella-Burka, DO, is an attending pediatric neurologist and epileptologist at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and assistant professor of Clinical Pediatrics and Neurology at The Ohio State University College of Medicine.

She earned her medical degree from Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her residency in child neurology and a fellowship in epilepsy at the Cleveland Clinic, followed by a clinical neurophysiology fellowship at the University of Virginia. She is board certified in neurology with special qualifications in child neurology and epilepsy.

Her clinical and academic interests focus on the management of complex epilepsy, including surgical interventions, as well as bioethics and medical education. She is deeply committed to advancing epilepsy care and enhancing the quality of life for children living with epilepsy.
