Namrita J. Odackal, DO

Namrita Odackal, DO, is a mother of two kiddos, clinician-educator, and medical illustrator. She is especially interested in improving trainee and NICU parent education through visual modalities. Dr. Odackal pursues this goal at Nationwide Children's Hospital through her role as Neonatologist in the Fetal Clinic as well as Associate Program Director of the Neonatal-Perinatal Fellowship. She especially enjoys building creative and innovative curriculum and collaborating with colleagues. She is a member of the CHNC Education Advisory Committee and Fetal Therapy Focus Group. Dr. Odackal has previously been a member of the Women in Neonatology Steering Committee, a special interest group of the Section of Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine of AAP, focused on advocating for and educating women neonatologists on a national scale. She grew up in Chicago and has travelled across the country for her training, including New York, Virginia and Colorado - and is happy to settle back into the Midwest with her husband, two sons and two cats.
