Biography

Lucas McKnight, MD, is a physician in the Section of Adult and Pediatric Hospital Medicine at Nationwide Children’s Hospital (NCH) and an assistant professor of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at The Ohio State University (OSU) College of Medicine. He is an Associate Program Director for the Internal Medicine-Pediatrics Residency at NCH and OSU. Dr. McKnight teaches a class for first and second year medical students through OSU with focus on early development of clinical history and exam skills. In addition to the above, he also has clinical time in the Internal Medicine-Pediatric Residency continuity clinic on South High St.

Dr. McKnight attended medical school at The University of Nebraska College of Medicine and completed his Internal Medicine-Pediatrics residency at The Ohio State University. He is board certified in Pediatrics and Internal Medicine. Dr. McKnight’s career interests include medical student and resident education. His clinical interests include care for hospitalized patients, inpatient consults, and training future health care providers.
