Biography

Julie Yeater, AuD, CCC-A, has worked in the realm of pediatrics for the past 26 years, from screening the hearing of high risk infants, UNHS coordinator for the largest birthing hospital in Northwest Ohio and serving on several state workgroups for infant and pediatric hearing loss identification and testing. She graduated from Miami University with her BS in speech pathology and audiology and from A.T. Still University with her AuD. She is a guest lecturer for both the University of Toledo and Bowling Green State University and also serves on a student interest group for OSHLA. She has helped initiate two cochlear implant programs in northwest Ohio, seeing both adults and pediatrics. Her specialty areas of audiology include electrophysiology and diagnostics as well as cochlear implants.
