Julia Patterson, LSW

Julia Patterson, LSW, is a licensed social worker who provides dedicated support to patients and families within the Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) Center as well as the broader GI Center at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. She offers psychosocial assessment, care coordination, and crisis intervention. She also assists with school and community accommodations to help children and adolescents manage the emotional, social, and practical challenges of chronic gastrointestinal conditions. She works closely with the multidisciplinary IBD and GI teams to ensure holistic, family-centered care and is passionate about empowering patients, reducing barriers to treatment, and supporting families throughout diagnosis and long-term disease management.
