Biography

Jesse Padgett, MS, currently is a sports performance specialist for Nationwide Children's Hospital at Bexley High School in Columbus, Ohio. Prior to joining Nationwide Children's, he was a member of the strength and conditioning staff at The Ohio State University from 2012-2018. Prior to OSU, Jesse was the strength and conditioning coordinator for Olentangy Liberty High School.

He is a certified strength & conditioning specialist through the National Strength & Conditioning Association and Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified through the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches association and holds various other certifications in the area of strength and conditioning..

Prior to coming to Children's, Jesse spent 7 years as a strength and conditioning coach at The Ohio State University. Jesse began his coaching career as an intern for The Ohio State University, Olympic Sports before becoming the strength and conditioning coordinator for Olentangy Liberty High School. He also spent time as a strength and conditioning coach for Elite Volleyball.

Jesse holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from Ohio University and Masters of Science in Exercise Science and Health Promotion from California University of Pennsylvania.
