Daniel Gomez, CCP, FPP, is the Director of Perfusion Services of The Heart Center at Nationwide Children's Hospital. Daniel is also a clinical instructor for 3 perfusion schools: State University of New York-Syracuse, Medical University of South Carolina-Charleston and Midwestern University-Glendale, Arizona. After completing his undergraduate degree from Southern Illinois University, he matriculated at St. Louis University in the field of Perfusion Technology. Clinical rotations included Washington University-Barnes Hospital and St. Louis Children's Hospital, St. Louis University-University Hospital, Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital and St. Mary's. Daniel joined Nationwide Children's Hospital in 1999 as a staff perfusionist. He became the Director, Perfusion Services in 2011.
