Biography
Ashley Davidson, MS, AT, ATC, joined Nationwide Children's Hospital Sports Medicine as a certified and licensed athletic trainer in 2016. Prior to joining Nationwide Children's Hospital, Ashley served as an athletic trainer at Walk the Line to SCI Recovery in Southfield, MI, where she designed recovery and rehabilitative programs for individuals suffering from spinal cord and traumatic brain injuries. She was also a Mentor Trainer, sharing responsibility for training new employees specific handling skills required for sessions, as well as documentation skills for billing purposes. Before joining Walk the Line to SCI Recovery, Ashley worked as a graduate assistant at Eastern Michigan University where she worked closely with the Volleyball and Women's Crew teams, and assisted with Football treatments and rehabilitation. She was also an approved clinical instructor for the undergraduate athletic training students at EMU. Prior to Eastern Michigan University, Ashley worked as an intern at the United States Naval Academy where she worked closely with the Football and Men's and Women's Lacrosse teams. Ashley earned a bachelor's degree in athletic training from Ashland University in 2007 and a master's degree in sports management and administration from Eastern Michigan University in 2010.
