Biography

Ashley Showalter, PhD, BCBA-D, COBA, is a psychologist and licensed behavior analyst at the Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders (CASD) where she supervises early intensive behavioral intervention services, parent training services and school consultation services. She focuses on helping families with children 3 to 10 years old who engage in problem behavior.

She received a Doctorate of Philosophy in School Psychology from the University of Cincinnati.  Her graduate studies focused on academic and behavioral interventions through a multi-tiered system of supports.  Additional areas of focus during training included the assessment and treatment of autism and other developmental disabilities.  Dr. Showalter completed her internship at the Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders at the Munroe-Meyer Institute under the supervision of Dr. Wayne Fisher.  She completed her post-doctoral fellowship at the CASD at Nationwide Children's Hospital under the supervision of Dr. Jacquie Wynn.
