Dr. Ann Levine is a psychologist with a Psy.D. from the University of Denver. She completed her fellowship in autism at the School of Medicine in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of North Carolina and completed a fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology at the New England Medical Center at Tufts University School of Medicine. She first worked with children with autism spectrum disorders and their families at the Yale Child Study Center. She specializes in early identification of children with autism. Prior to joining the faculty at The Ohio State University Department of Pediatrics and Nationwide Children’s Hospital, her career has led her to the Washington University Medical School, Division of Child Psychiatry focused on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Research, to be the director of assessment at the Texas Child Study Center, Dell Children's Medical Center, and was a supervising neuropsychologist at the University of Washington’s Autism Center.
Since joining Nationwide Children's Hospital, she has focused on the zero to three population exposed to opioids in utero, providing developmental monitoring for premature children, assessing young children with congenital heart disease, is or has developed programs for assessing foster care children with complex trauma and at risk for autism, sleep consultations for children 0-4 with neurodevelopmental disabilities, and fetal alcohol spectrum disorder. Dr. Levine continues to train graduate students, psychology interns and post-doctoral trainees, medical residents and fellows and mentors research psychology fellows.
