Visitor Guidelines in Place
As we anticipate a rise in respiratory viruses during the fall and winter months, it is necessary for Nationwide Children’s to protect the health of high-risk inpatients by restricting inpatient visitors.
Beginning November 1, all visitors (including siblings) on units H2, H4, H8, H12 and the Neonatal Network must be free of illness and at least 12 years of age.

Every Story Matters
“Ohio is gaining so much momentum in school health, and I think it's fantastic! The Nationwide Children’s School Health Services team aims to connect with students and families who don't have a medical home. I would love to see our programs and services continue to expand, so we can reach families with the health care they need in one of the spaces where they feel most comfortable – at school.”
“From a young age, I knew I wanted to go into social work because I have a passion for helping people. I am grateful every day that I get to come to work and make a difference in the lives of children and families.”
“I enjoy working with a staff who share similar goals of caring for our patients through promotion of mobilization within the hospital. It’s also rewarding to see the positive impact you can have on helping a patient safely discharge so they can return home with their family.”
