2022 Pediatric Home Care Conference

Supporting Home Care Staff. Elevating Patient Care.

Co-hosted by the Ohio Council for Home Care and Hospice. Presented virtually from, and in-person at, Nationwide Children’s Hospital Conference Center

The intended audience includes nurses, social workers, hospice and palliative care providers, discharge planners, care coordinators, home health administrators, complex care providers, home health aides, pharmacists, occupational and physical therapists, chaplains, speech therapists and child life specialists.

Pediatric Dermatology Symposium

This in-person conference, hosted by the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Dermatology Clinic team, highlights updates on pediatric dermatologic conditions frequently seen in primary care practice. We hope to equip primary care providers with the knowledge and resources to confidently care for these patients within their setting.

Simulation Center

Nationwide Children’s Hospital Simulation Program supports the hospital’s guiding principle to “Create a safe day every day.” Accredited by the Society for Simulation in Healthcare, Nationwide Children’s Simulation Program provides opportunities for various medical professionals to practice technical skills, medical judgment and collaborative teamwork. Simulation activities incorporate a variety of simulation modalities and methodologies including, state-of-the-art simulators, actual patient care environments, virtual reality, and task trainers. Typical simulation sessions place the learners in a safe and controlled learning environment where they actively participate in highly immersive, realistic and high-risk scenarios. Pediatric Grand Rounds

Pediatric Grand Rounds take place every Thursday. Starting on August 4, 2022, Pediatric Grand Rounds return to live presentations in Stecker Auditorium. The virtual option to attend will also be available.
