Rakhi Gupta Basuray, MD, is a physician in the Section of Hospital Pediatrics at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, and an assistant professor of Pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. She is a part of the Newborn Medicine team and serves in an educational capacity with medical students.
Dr. Gupta Basuray attended medical school at The Ohio State University College of Medicine, completed her pediatric internship at Penn State Children’s Hospital, and residency at Loyola’s Ronald McDonald Children’s Hospital, in the Chicago area. She is board certified in pediatrics.
Dr. Gupta Basuray’s interests focus on Newborn Medicine and Medical Education. She is the Newborn Nursery Site Director for the Pediatric Hospital Medicine Fellowship and serves on national committees, including the Better Outcomes through Research for Newborns (BORN) as well as the American Academy of Pediatrics, Neonatal Hospitalist Subcommittee.
