Biography
Scott Holliday, MD, is Chief of both the Section of Hospital Pediatrics and the Section of Adult Hospital Medicine. He also holds appointments in the Section of Ambulatory Pediatrics at Nationwide Children's Hospital and the Division of General Internal Medicine at The Ohio State University. He is a Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatrics and Internal Medicine in The Ohio State University College of Medicine. Dr. Holliday also serves as the Residency Director for the Combined Internal Medicine-Pediatrics Residency Program at The Ohio State University and Nationwide Children's Hospital. In this role, he founded and currently directs the South High Primary Care Center, a primary care training site for the Med-Peds Residency. This site provides primary care for children and adults, and provides transitional care for adolescents and young adults with chronic pediatric illnesses. Dr. Holliday also serves as a care provider in the FACES program at Nationwide Children's Hospital. This program provides family-centered HIV care and education to families afflicted by HIV. Dr. Holliday has served as an executive committee member for the American Academy of Pediatrics Section on Med-Peds and continues to serve as that committee’s Communications Chair and newsletter editor. Dr. Holliday’s interests include teaching and graduate medical education, quality initiatives, and public policy as it pertains to patient care. He is board certified in both pediatrics and internal medicine.
