Maggie attended Miami University where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a minor in Business Management. While at Miami, she fostered her love for healthcare while working in the Emergency Department at the local hospital, performing bench research at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center, and interning at The Ohio State University Hospital East. Maggie graduated from The Ohio State University Masters of Health Administration Program in May of 2018. At Ohio State, Maggie worked for the Center for Clinical and Translational Science, where she developed a database that was used to streamline data collection processes for annual reporting to the National Institutes of Health. Maggie also had the opportunity to work with The Ohio State University Hospital and Ross Heart Hospital, working on a number of projects that included developing an Epic training program, streamlining workflow processes within a cardiology clinic, and identifying various regional development initiatives.

Maggie is excited to begin her career in the Joint Administrative Fellowship program under the mentorship and guidance of a strong leadership team, and is interested in clinical operations as well as planning and business development. In her free time, Maggie enjoys exercising, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.

Joe attended The Ohio State University where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Communications. During his undergraduate studies, he had the opportunity to intern for both Shriners Hospital for Children-Cincinnati as an administrative intern and The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center as a health information management intern. In 2017, Joe completed the didactic portion of his graduate degree in Healthcare Services & Administration at Xavier University. During graduate school, he worked with Northwestern Medicine as an intern to the planning and strategic analytics department to develop an impact analysis on the Medicare Access & CHIP Reauthorization Act of 2015. He also had the opportunity to work for the Heart Institute at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, where he assisted the department with outpatient cardiology financial reporting and process improvement initiatives.

During the first year of his fellowship at Nationwide Children’s Hospital (NCH), Joe helped optimize the work flow process at a regional affiliate hospital. Joe also conducted market analyses, developed business plans, and utilized process improvement tools to improve financial quoting process for international patients. At the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, Joe will continue to develop leadership skills through both operational roles and project-based work. In his free time, Joe enjoys golfing, snowboarding, and traveling.
