Biography

 

Sarah Eilerman, PT, DPT is a Physical Therapist at Nationwide Children’s Hospital working in acute care as well as following patients with burn injuries in burn clinic and outpatient therapy. She received her DPT from Ohio University. Sarah has presented at local, state, and national conferences on topics such as early mobilization in the pediatric intensive care unit, early weight bearing following skin grafting, and mobility following burn injury. Sarah also presents educational in-services to interdisciplinary teams throughout Nationwide Children’s Hospital regarding the role of therapy in patients with burn injuries as well as early mobilization in the pediatric and cardiothoracic intensive care units. Sarah is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association as well as the American Burn Association serving on the Rehabilitation Committee.
