Biography

Ruth Seabrook, MD, is an Associate Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at the Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Medical Director for Neonatal ECMO at Nationwide Children's Hospital. She is also an attending physician in the Level IV main campus NICU. Dr Seabrook’s clinical interests include newborns with surgical anomalies, starting with prenatal counselling following fetal diagnosis and continuing through postnatal management. She is particularly interested in caring for newborns with congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH) and neonates requiring extra-corporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO). Nationally, she is an active member of multiple focus groups in the Children’s Hospital Neonatal Consortium.
