Dr. Ruth Seabrook is an Associate Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at the Ohio State University College of Medicine, and currently serves as the Director of Neonatal-Perinatal Care in the Fetal Center at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. She is also the Medical Director for Neonatal ECMO, and an attending physician in the Level IV main campus NICU Dr Seabrook’s clinical interests include newborns with surgical anomalies, starting with prenatal counselling following fetal diagnosis and continuing through postnatal management. She is particularly interested in caring for newborns with congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH) and neonates requiring extra-corporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO). Nationally, she is an active member of multiple focus groups in the Children’s Hospital Neonatal Consortium.
