August 19, 2013

Country Jam for Kids, a music celebration hosted by 92.3 WCOL radio, will be held on Friday, September 6, 2013 at the Lifestyle Communities Pavilion Outdoor Amphitheater located at 405 Neil Avenue, Columbus, 43215. A percentage of event proceeds will benefit Nationwide Children’s Hospital as well as 100 percent of the funds raised by the “Auction for the Kids.”

“When we can put together country fans with high profile country artists, and help kids at the same time by benefitting an organization like Nationwide Children’s Hospital, it’s a win for all involved,” said Michael McCoy, vice president of programming for Clear Channel Radio in Columbus.

“We are so appreciative of WCOL’s support and the generous giving spirit of the country music community,” said Niki Shafer, vice president of Nationwide Children’s Hospital Foundation.

Country Jam for Kids will also feature online, silent and live auctions all to benefit Nationwide Children’s. The online auction will take place Wednesday, August 21 through Tuesday, August 27, 2013.
