Biography

Jennifer L. Dotson, MD, MPH, is co-director of the Center for Pediatric and Adolescent Inflammatory Bowel Disease at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and an associate professor of clinical pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. Dr. Dotson’s clinical interests involve all aspects of pediatric gastroenterology, with a special interest in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).

As a principal investigator in the Center for Health Equity and Outcomes Research at The Research Institute at Nationwide Children’s, she conducts clinical research in health services and outcomes-based research in pediatric IBD. Her interests are studying rare events, barriers to care, and health care disparities.

Dr. Dotson received the NASPGHAN Foundation/Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation Young Investigator Grant and the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation Career Development Grant to support her work on health care disparities and barriers to care in children with IBD.
