Biography
Heather Camille Wright, NNP is a board-certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner specializing in caring for all newborns requiring specialized treatment. She has dedicated her entire nursing career to premature infants and their families. She obtained her undergraduate degree and her Master of Science degree in Nursing from The Ohio State University. She worked full time as a staff nurse at Nationwide Children's Level III NICU at Riverside Methodist Hospital for two years, and then continued her advanced career at Nationwide Children's Level III NICU located at Grant Hospital. She is a leader on her home unit, where she heads up the unit Small Baby Committee to improve care practices and ensure best outcomes for her smallest and most fragile patients. She serves as a unit Safety Coach, helping to keep the safety of her patients at the forefront. She also assists in the Mock Code Committee to help improve response times during critical situations. Camille enjoys caring for patients at the start of their journey through life and works closely with the physicians and nurses to improve neonatal outcomes and provide quality care to all babies and their families.
