Bethany Downey, PMHNP, is a board certified psychiatric/mental health nurse practitioner. She has been practicing for four years at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, in the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Her current focus is in the division of general outpatient psychiatry; in the past she has participated in a number of specialty psychiatry clinics including the Nationwide Children's THRIVE program for youth with Gender Dysphoria and the NCH 22.q Deletion Psychiatry Clinic.
She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and her Master of Science in Nursing from The Ohio State University. She enjoys teaching and has served as a clinical preceptor for a number of graduate nursing students.
