Richard Wood

Richard J. Wood

Richard Wood, MBChB, FCPS(SA), serves as chief for the Department of Colorectal and Pelvic Reconstruction and program director for the three fellowships at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and is Professor of Surgery at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. Dr. Wood’s has a clinical interest in complex pelvic reconstructive surgery, including anorectal malformations, cloacal malformations, Hirschsprung disease and the surgical management of severe constipation.

Matthew W. Ralls

Matthew Ralls, MD, is a pediatric surgeon treating patients at Nationwide Children’s Hospital - Toledo and ProMedica Russell J. Ebeid Children’s Hospital. Dr. Ralls earned his medical degree from the University of Toledo College of Medicine and completed his residency and pediatric surgical fellowship at the University of Michigan. He specializes in treating patients with colorectal diseases, including pelvic reconstruction for anorectal malformations and Hirschsprung’s disease, as well as surgical management of inflammatory bowel disease.

Marcus Jarboe

Marcus D. Jarboe

Marcus Jarboe, MD, is a pediatric surgeon treating patients at Nationwide Children’s Hospital - Toledo and ProMedica Russell J. Ebeid Children’s Hospital. Dr. Jarboe earned his medical degree from Harvard Medical School, received his surgical residency training at the University of Cincinnati and completed fellowships in both pediatric surgery and interventional radiology at the University of Michigan. He is board certified in general surgery and pediatric surgery and his areas of clinical interest and expertise focus on image-guided and minimally invasive surgical techniques. Dr. Jarboe has further expertise in thoracic/chest surgery dealing with a wide range of complex problems in the lung and mediastinum (i.e. CPAM, sequestrations, tumors, etc.), innovative hernia repair, image-guided colorectal surgery, complex biliary and liver surgery, complex vascular access and pediatric interventional radiology.
