How to Transfer Your Patient
To transfer your patient to Nationwide Children’s Hospital - Toledo located inside Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center, call (888) 588-7337 and select option 2 to initiate a new transfer request for stable patients. For emergent cases, select option 9.
To transfer your patient to Nationwide Children’s in Columbus or to speak with a specialist from our 24-hour physician/provider consult-transfer center, call (877) 355-0221.

About Nationwide Children’s Clinical Pathways Program
- Our Clinical Pathways are informed by national clinical practice guidelines and a review of current literature.
- They are meant to complement clinical judgment; they are not meant to be applied rigidly in all cases.
- Clinical Pathways are developed by content experts, including physician and nursing leaders from medical subspecialties and representatives from other allied health practitioners.

Inaugural Northwest Ohio Pediatric Summit

Join pediatric healthcare professionals from across the region for the inaugural Northwest Ohio Pediatric Summit, a new educational conference dedicated to advancing pediatric care through collaboration, innovation and evidence-based practice.
Designed for primary care and family medicine physicians, advanced practice providers, residents, medical students, nurses and other allied health professionals who care for children, this one-day summit will feature presentations led by pediatric experts highlighting emerging topics, clinical advancements and best practices in allergy/immunology, artificial intelligence, dermatology, genetics, general surgery, orthopedics, sports medicine and urology.
In addition to educational sessions, attendees will have opportunities to network with colleagues, connect with exhibitors and industry partners and explore innovative products, services and resources that support the health and well-being of children throughout northwest Ohio.
