Biography

Monica I. Ardura, DO, MSCS, FAAP, FPIDS, FIDSA, is Medical Director of the Host Defense Program, Chief of the Section of Infectious Diseases at Nationwide Children's Hospital, and Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. Her clinical and research interests include the prevention, diagnosis, and management of infections in immunocompromised children including those with underlying malignancies and solid organ and hematopoietic cell transplantation recipients. Dr. Ardura is also a clinical educator committed to fellow education in the subspecialty of transplant/immunocompromised infectious diseases.
