Best Children’s Hospitals Honor Roll

Nationwide Children’s Hospital has been named to U.S. News & World Report’s Best Children’s Hospitals Honor Roll for the 11th consecutive year. The Honor Roll is a top distinction awarded to only 10 children’s hospitals nationwide. Nationwide Children’s has been named by U.S. News as tied for the No. 1 pediatric hospital in Ohio and the Midwest and is ranked among the nation’s best in all 11 specialties, with seven ranked in the top 10.

Five-Time Magnet Recognized

The American Nurses Credentialing Center’s (ANCC) Magnet Recognition Program® - which recognizes health care organizations worldwide for their commitment to nursing excellence and innovation - has awarded Nationwide Children’s Hospital its fifth consecutive Magnet Designation. There are just over 600 Magnet designated hospitals in the world, with less than 1% having achieved this honor five or more times.

One of America’s Best Large Employers

Forbes has once again named Nationwide Children’s Hospital as one of “America’s Best Large Employers.” Nationwide Children’s is ranked the number one hospital in Ohio, in the top five for children’s hospitals nationally, sixth in the healthcare and social industry category and 42nd among the top 500 large employers’ category.

The Kids Mental Health Foundation 

Nationwide Children’s Hospital is the founder and creator of the nation’s leading children’s mental health movement, The Kids Mental Health Foundation. The Foundation was created out of the hospital’s commitment to address the youth mental health crisis – not just for kids in its backyard, but for kids everywhere. And now that work has reached more than 15 million grown-ups across the United States.
