About Respiratory Therapy

Respiratory therapists at Nationwide Children’s are trusted experts and essential members of the care team. You'll work in one of the nation’s top pediatric hospitals, ranked among the top ten for pulmonary medicine.

Areas of Care

Choose the environment that inspires you most:

  • NICU – Care for premature infants and support high-risk deliveries in a 130-bed unit.
  • PICU – Treat critically ill patients in two intensive care units with 54 total beds.
  • Cardiac/CTICU – Provide advanced pre- and post-operative care, including heart and lung transplants.
  • Pulmonary – Manage cystic fibrosis, asthma and tracheotomy patients in a 24-bed inpatient unit.
  • CORE – Work in the ED, OR, PACU, cath lab and rehab, caring for patients of all ages.
