Women's Board

The Women's Board of Nationwide Children's Hospital was part of the original vision of the hospital when it was founded in 1892. For more than 119 years, the Women's Board has been serving the hospital and raising funds to support the hospital's mission of providing outstanding health care to all children, no matter what their family's financial situation.

The Women's Board signature event is the Junior Golf Classic held each summer. Junior golfers from around Ohio come together for this one day event with the theme of “Healthy Kids Helping Sick Kids”.

2012 Volunteer of the Year
The annual Auxilian Volunteer of the Year Award was established to honor a woman for her dedication and service to Nationwide Children’s Hospital as exhibited by her service through a Nationwide Children’s Hospital Women’s Auxiliary. This award recognizes a woman’s active leadership to Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Nominate someone now!

Dee Dee English, Women’s Board President and Cindy Bitter, Junior Golf Chair person presented a check during the Children’s Miracle Network Telethon to Nationwide Children’s Hospital in the amount of $53,283.
