Dr. Creary is an assistant professor of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology and a physician in the Hematology/ Oncology/BMT Clinic at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Her clinical interests are in benign hematology specifically caring for children and adolescents with sickle cell disease. Dr. Creary's research interests are to improve hydroxyurea medication adherence in children with sickle cell disease, as it is the only disease modifying medication available for children with this disease. Dr. Creary received her medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine.She completed her pediatric residency at Riley Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis and her pediatric hematology/oncology fellowship at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC while also receiving her Masters of Science in Clinical Research at the University of Pittsburgh in 2013.
