Shahid I. Sheikh, MD

Shahid Ijaz Sheikh, MD, is a member of the Section of Pulmonary Medicine and Allergy/Immunology at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and an Associate Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He is trained and certified in pediatric pulmonology and allergy and immunology. His clinical interests include children with asthma, bronchopulmonary dysplasia and cystic fibrosis. His research interests include asthma, infantile wheezing, cystic fibrosis and gastroesophageal reflux induced respiratory problems. He is involved in multiple clinical trials at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. He is also involved in physician development courses offered through the medical school.
