Biography

Richard Golden, MD, completed his medical degree at The Ohio State University and his training in ophthalmology at the University of Missouri-Kansas City- where he served as chief resident. He then returned to Ohio for his fellowship training in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Dr. Golden is board certified in ophthalmology and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus.

Dr. Golden is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at The Ohio State University and currently serves on the President of the Central Ohio Pediatric Society. As a member of both the faculty at The Ohio State University and the staff of Nationwide Children's Hospital, Dr. Golden is committed to both research and the education of future physicians. His clinical and research interests include strabismus, amblyopia, pediatric cataracts and retinopathy of prematurity.
