A PHO, physician hospital organization, is an integral health care delivery system which combines the services of a hospital and physician providers. Together the organization enters into contract agreements with managed care companies in order to provide medical care for patients. Partners for Kids is a messenger model PHO that negotiates the Medicaid managed care agreements on behalf of our providers.
