2011 BIA Parade of Homes – CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS

TWIG of Nationwide Children’s Hospital is searching for volunteers for the 2011 BIA Parade of Homes slated for June 11-26 at Olentangy Falls in Delaware, Ohio.

Volunteers are being sought to serve as hosts in select homes during the Parade. Duties include greeting visitors, directing visitors through the home and giving visitors general details about the site.

Volunteer shifts vary depending on the day. Monday through Saturday shifts are 12 - 3:15 p.m., 3 - 6:15 p.m. and 6 - 9:15 p.m. Sunday shifts are 12 - 3:15 p.m. and 3 - 6:15 p.m. The builders will make a donation to Nationwide Children’s Hospital equal to $15 per hour for each volunteer.

Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older, and should dress business casual (no jeans or shorts) with comfortable shoes as they will be standing during their shift. Volunteer information packets include directions to the homes, a parking pass and a pass to visit the other homes on the Parade route.
